Marinevest is a marina appraisal and marine related consulting services firm specializing in the marina industry throughout the United States.  

 

Gerard H. McDonough, President of Marinevest has been actively involved in marine real estate appraisals for more than 20 years throughout the United States as well as Costa Rica, Mexico and Panama.  In addition to being a member of Association of Marina Industries Mr. McDonough is on the board of AMI’s Water Access Task Force and holds the MAI designation with the Appraisal Institute.

 

In December 2008, Marinevest expanded its capabilities with the addition of Andrew Cantor to the team.  Andrew has 20 years of real estate transaction experience in both acquisitions and debt finance including the last four years in the marina industry financing marina acquisitions.  From December 2004 through October 2008 he originated and closed on financing for 16 marinas in the United States, Caribbean, and Mexico.
